Can't Quit Smoking, Vape Instead
67
Unfortunately I am a smoker...well was until a few weeks ago. Like most, I have tried everything under the sun to try and kick the filthy habbit. Smoking isn't just bad for the smoker but for everyone around them, especially children. As a mother, my habbit always made me feel guilty and inferrior to non smoking mothers. Now the guilt is gone and so are the cigarettes thanks to electronic cigarettes (ecigs).
Ecigs have been around for a few years now but are just now really starting to show up in stores. While they are not advertised or marketed to be use as a "quit smoking" device, many are using them for just that. I personally haven't gotten to the point of wanting to quit completely but thanks to the ecigs, I haven't wanted or needed a regular cigarette (analog) since I picked up my kit.
What are they you ask? They are a battery, atomizer and liquid nicotine filled cartirge. Some are just batteries with what is called a cartomizer with liquid in it. When assembled, it looks just like an analog and works almost the same. You inhale on it just like you would an analog and get a very similar feeling as you would smoking normaly only no added toxic chemicals and no second hand smoke!
Another added bonus of ecigs is the price. Where I live a carton of analogs cost nearly $50. Now I spend less than $16 for three cartons with my ejuice and I can get any flavor imaginable to smoke, even the expensive analog brands like Dunhils.
If you are interested in getting a starter kit, do your research first. Name brands are way over priced. Before you jump in check out these sites and compare prices and read the reviews. Not all ecigs are created equal and some kits just don't cut it.

Those of you already out there vaping away, what is your favorite ecig and what would you recommend to new users? I myself am still somewhat new and am using Cig2o which turns out I could have gotten much cheaper had I done some research as it is a rebranded KR808D-1. I spent $65 on mine when I could have gotten it for under $50...OUCH!

I only buy the cig2o's now... all the others are crap. I use cig2ostore.com because it has way faster shipping than the cig2o site.
I started about 4 months ago. I try Blu didn't hold for me, then I purchased the KR808d-1 (2 piece type). I never went back. Too bad the cartomizers are a bit prizy. But you can also find good prices with Vapor King, Analog Alternative, to name a few.
But like you said, you need to do your research.
I use the cig20 as well. My mother (a heavy smoker for 40 years) turned me on to it. I have smoked for 20 years and quite frankly, was tired of it. I just couldn't quit...I needed the hand to mouth motion and to blow the smoke out. Insane, I know....LOL!
This is my fifth day and I'm loving it. I feel like I am getting away with something, like cheating on my test or something (lol). It tastes like a cig, feels like I'm smoking but it has no smell at all.
Here is a tip I figured out: At first, I noticed when I took a drag it seemed too airy to me....so I wrap tape where the cartomizer and ciggy thing screw on (tightly). Now I get a nice, huge puff that tastes just like a ciggy.
These are a lifesaver for me.....I couldn't be happier!!!!! I recommend for anyone who wants to quit. It works!!!!
I use cig2o but I get them from Vapage.com... it's much better than cig2ostore.com
